Richard Wicks is the founder and Practice Principal of Sterling Cooper. With a wealth of mortgage based and finance related knowledge in the fields of residential and buy to let mortgages, commercial, development and bridging finance, accumulated over the past 30 years since joining the Financial Services Industry in 1993.

Having previously pursued a highly successful career as a Michelin trained chef, working in some of the world’s greatest restaurants, Richard has always diligently applied the core principal of “attention to detail at every stage” to each client’s application, no matter how large or small, as he resolutely believes and instils in his staff to “treat every mortgage application as if it were your own”.

With these core principles and a wealth of finance specific knowledge Richard has helped thousands of clients over the years own their own homes, build successful property portfolios and obtain much needed funding for small and medium sized businesses when many mainstream lenders seemed not willing to help when help was needed most.

Whether it be the often seemingly overwhelming prospect of buying your very first home, remortgaging to a better rate of interest to reduce monthly mortgage costs or trying to find business finance when nobody seems to want to listen or help, Richard Wicks and Sterling Copper are perfectly placed to assist in finding and arranging the most suitable individually tailored financial solution to meet your specific needs.
